My 5 Favourite Instagram Fails of All Time

My 5 Favourite Instagram Fails of All Time

Who wants to experience an Instagram fail? Certainly not me! But they are out there in the thousands and thousands. Here are my favourite 5 (so far) I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings…thank you photoshop.

Photoshop, photoshop, photoshop…thank you!

If you’re going to photoshop yourself in your Insta photos chances are you are going to get caught out. Instagrammers are eagle eyed and will call it out! And if you are caught out, then own up to it. Don’t make up some story about it being a shadow from a miniature tree. There are so many I could list here…just type in Kardashian photoshop fail and the amusement is endless!

My favourite was Miranda Kerr who posted a photo of herself at the Victoria Secrets Fashion Show in 2012. This is the original.

And this is the one she posted a few months later…notice the difference in her waist size?

Free Money

This is an oldie but a goodie and what’s worse is the number of people who still do this. Yes, the instafail was someone who posted their entire credit card details for everyone to see! It’s in the same category as those that post their winning tickets on Instagram at Melbourne Cup with the barcode visible. Goodbye winnings!

Bad Traffic Hey?

Don’t you just love it when people feel the need to make something up to post on Instagram? Those pesky mirrors and reflections will catch you out every time. Bad traffic hey? The reflection in your sunglasses tells a different story…there are no other cars around. This still has me giggling.

Selfie Fail

I can’t even look at this photo without bursting out laughing. There is simply nothing to say.

Netflix Fail

Ok so the last one isn’t technically Instagram but The Babysitters Netflix promo was my favourite fail of 2017.   Two right hands anyone? Netflix have since changed the promo image.

There is a lesson here, double or triple check the photos you’re posting. Or even better post real, unedited, made up photos and you’ll be fine.
